Europe approves a 900 million euros French program

The European Commission has just approved a €900 million subsidy program from the French government to support the production of renewable fuels and renewable fuels based on green hydrogen and biomass.

The Commission’s decision falls within the temporary crisis and transition framework, an exceptional mechanism that, adopted in March 2023, allows Member States to unlock exceptional resources to support sectors essential to the transition to a zero-emission economy.
