Airports preparing for hydrogen-powered aircrafts

ADP (Aéroports de Paris) announces a partnership with GRTgaz to study the pipeline transportation of this product to the Parisian airports.

For Airbus, the horizon for a possible entry into service of a 150-seat hydrogen-powered aircraft is set for 2035. That’s a little over ten years from now. However, it’s in early 2027 that the European aircraft manufacturer will announce its final decision regarding the launch, or not, of this aircraft. The hydrogen-powered aircraft could be a decisive asset in the race towards low-carbon aviation. However, the technical feasibility is not yet certain.
