The European Hydrogen Academy is an initiative funded by the European Commission as part of the Horizon Europe Programme. It aims to transform the educational scene to boost the growing hydrogen industry.

Under the light of a booming hydrogen market and an estimation of over a million qualified workers in Europe by 2030, the European Hydrogen Academy is built around a consortium of 15 partners (and 2 associate partners) led by Birmingham University (UK). The University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard, UTBM is the only French member. The programme brings together universities, companies and foundations from several European countries, namely: Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, Czech Republic, Romania and the United Kingdom (England and Northern Ireland).
